My Approach

A Holistic, Integrative Path to Healing

I believe in a holistic, integrative approach that helps individuals reconnect with their inner strength and develop a profound sense of self. By honoring the wisdom of the body, emotions, heart, and mind, I guide you through a transformative healing journey where every aspect of your being is embraced and integrated.

As a certified AEDP® therapist, I incorporate the principles of AEDP® psychotherapy—a healing-oriented, attachment-based, and emotion-focused model—into my practice (see “what is AEDP®︎ psychotherapy?”). My therapy style is experiential, collaborative, and deeply attuned to your unique emotional and psychological landscape.

What to Expect in Our Sessions

Seeking therapy takes courage, and I honor your decision to embark on this journey. With your permission, I will accompany you into what may feel like a "dark place," helping you process emotions in a safe and supportive way. While this work can be challenging, it leads to empowerment, relief, and renewed vitality.

During our sessions, we will:
Tune into your physical sensations, emotional responses, and internal dialogues
Use imagery, curiosity, and playfulness to explore your experiences in depth
Cultivate self-awareness and emotional resilience

Online Therapy for Your Convenience

I offer online therapy sessions to provide greater accessibility and flexibility. Services are available in English and Japanese, making therapy more accessible to Asian, Asian-American, and immigrant clients who may feel more comfortable expressing themselves in their native language.
