 My Approach

I believe in a holistic, integrative approach that empowers individuals to reconnect with their inner strength and secure a profound sense of self. By honoring the wisdom of our body, emotions, heart, and mind, I guide you through a transformative healing journey where every aspect of your being is embraced and integrated.

Drawing from the principles of AEDP™ psychotherapy (see my version of “what is AEDP psychotherapy?”) —a transformative model rooted in healing-oriented, attachment-based, and emotion-focused techniques—my therapy style is experiential and collaborative. Together, we embark on a journey of deep self-exploration, honoring your unique experiences and emotions along the way.

I understand the courage it takes to seek help and navigate through emotional difficulties. With your permission, I am committed to accompanying you into what may feel like a "dark place," guiding you through the process of feeling and processing your emotions. Though challenging, this journey leads to empowerment, lightness, and renewed energy.

During our sessions, we will closely attend to your physical sensations, emotional reactions, and internal dialogues. Utilizing various senses, including imagery, curiosity, and playfulness, we explore your experiences in depth.

Sessions are conducted online for your convenience and accessibility, available in both English and Japanese.

Schedule a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation to explore how we can work together.
It's essential for you to feel comfortable and confident in our therapeutic relationship for your journey to be successful.
Click below to book your consultation, or visit the CONTACT to make an appointment. I'll respond within 24 hours to confirm.

During our initial phone consultation, feel free to ask any questions to determine if we're a good match. Upon deciding to work together, we'll establish our meeting schedule. I typically recommend weekly sessions to deepen our relationship and address core issues effectively.

For our intake session, I suggest a 60-minute session to allow ample time for exploration.

Before your First Session

After scheduling an appointment, you'll receive a confirmation email. Prior to our first meeting, please complete and return the intake forms provided. Additionally, there's a "video recording consent" form, which is voluntary and solely aimed at enhancing our sessions' effectiveness.

Cancellation Policy

Your time is valuable, and so is mine. To ensure that everyone's needs are met, I ask for a minimum of 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. This allows me to accommodate other clients who may need the time slot. In the event of a late cancellation or no-show, the full session fee will be charged, as this time has been reserved specifically for you.

While I understand that life can be unpredictable, frequent cancellations or missed appointments may impact our ability to continue treatment. Therefore, it's important to communicate any scheduling conflicts in advance to avoid disruption to our therapeutic progress.
